A lo largo de siete a\u00f1os, hemos forjado una alianza con los trabajadores rurales, una comunidad que hist\u00f3ricamente se ha mostrado desconfiada y recelosa, pues rara vez ha sido escuchada o incluida en los servicios e iniciativas. El programa se centra estrat\u00e9gicamente en prestar servicios que mejoren la calidad de vida, la seguridad laboral y la tranquilidad de los trabajadores agr\u00edcolas y sus familias. Al mismo tiempo, fomenta relaciones m\u00e1s s\u00f3lidas entre trabajadores, productores y organizaciones locales.<\/p>\n

Los servicios del programa se enmarcan en los cuatro pilares del Programa de Trabajo Decente de la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional del Trabajo (OIT), que ha sido socio estrat\u00e9gico de RGC durante los dos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, apoyando la implantaci\u00f3n de condiciones de trabajo decentes en las cadenas de suministro de caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n

METODOLOG\u00cdA<\/h2>\n

La estrategia del proyecto se cre\u00f3 utilizando los siguientes lineamientos:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Utilizar un enfoque basado en datos.<\/strong> Se llev\u00f3 a cabo una encuesta de l\u00ednea base que abarc\u00f3 a 118 productores y 180 trabajadores para conocer en profundidad las condiciones existentes de los trabajadores agr\u00edcolas. A continuaci\u00f3n, los resultados se difundieron entre agricultores y trabajadores para ayudarles a dise\u00f1ar la estrategia de aplicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Escuchar a los trabajadores.<\/strong> Los trabajadores agr\u00edcolas son sus propios protagonistas y son quienes desarrollan las soluciones a sus propios problemas.<\/p>\n

Trabajar en colaboraci\u00f3n.<\/strong> Una amplia gama de socios del proyecto (tostador, importador, exportador, cooperativas, ONG, comunidades) es imprescindible para garantizar la diversidad de perspectivas y la continuidad del proyecto.<\/p>\n

Asegurar la financiaci\u00f3n del proyecto a largo plazo.<\/strong> Una financiaci\u00f3n garantizada a 3 a\u00f1os ofrece confianza y estabilidad financiera a los beneficiarios.<\/p>\n
